Softball Recap: Southern Comes Up Short

While it was Southern who put the first runs on the board on Wednesday, it was Clay who put up more. The Tornadoes took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Southern's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Clay, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Southern nor Clay have any future games scheduled.
