Football Recap: Dallastown Takes a Loss

Dallastown managed to slip by William Penn the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 34-14 to the Bearcats on Friday. The game was a 8-8 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.

Corbin Myers threw for 35 yards on five of 11 attempts. On the ground, Jadyn Arias rushed for 82 yards on only 11 carries.

Dallastown has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.3 points over those games. As for William Penn, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dallastown will take on Dover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for William Penn, they will face off against Spring Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
