WF West is a perfect 10-0 against Shelton since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bearcats will square off against the Highclimbers at 4:30 p.m. WF West's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Shelton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Friday just wasn't the day for WF West's offense. They came up short against Centralia on Friday, falling 13-0.

Meanwhile, Shelton owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They skirted past Aberdeen 2-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Highclimbers' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Not much got past Daniel Crossan, who gave up just eight hits and racked up six Ks to keep Aberdeen off the board. Crossan has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Shelton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zaine Scott, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave Scott a new career-high.

WF West's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3-1. As for Shelton, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

WF West took their victory against Shelton when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 9-0 score. Do the Bearcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Highclimbers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
