Basketball Recap: North College Hill Comes Up Short

North College Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 53-28 to the Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-13.

It was another big night for Lucy Rosen, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine steals for Miami Valley Christian Academy. Rosen's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Farmer, who posted 13 points along with eight boards and seven steals.

North College Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

North College Hill has already played their next match (against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions challenge the Lockland Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Miami Valley Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
