Basketball Recap: Headland Takes a Loss

Headland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Enterprise Wildcats, falling 60-18. The match marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Headland's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Enterprise, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Headland will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eufaula at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Enterprise, they and Holmes County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Holmes County will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Enterprise surely won't give up without a fight.
