Basketball Recap: Mobridge-Pollock's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mobridge-Pollock can now relate to. They fell 58-51 to the Lennox Orioles on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Orioles are ranked fifth).

With the loss, Mobridge-Pollock broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Lennox, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.
