Glenbrook had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Cedar Creek Cougars. With that win, the Apaches brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Sam Ricord spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jackson Waller was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three runs. Another player making a difference was Easton Sanders, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Glenbrook pushed their record up to 14-9-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Cedar Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-16.

Coming up, Glenbrook will head out to challenge North DeSoto at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cedar Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Captain Shreve at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
