While Manila's victory against Newport wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions had just enough and edged out the Greyhounds 3-2 on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Manila back to even at 7-7. As for Newport, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Manila didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Walnut Ridge on the 2nd. Newport has also already played their next matchup (against Crowley's Ridge Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
