Baseball Recap: Bullock County Comes Up Short

Bullock County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to the Straughn Tigers. One positive for the Hornets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Bullock County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Straughn, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Bullock County will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Carver Montgomery at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
