Soccer Game Preview: White County vs. Watertown

The White County Warriors will take on the Watertown Purple Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

White County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Livingston Academy on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. White County haven't had much luck with Livingston Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Watertown kept a clean sheet against Westmoreland on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 9-0 win. Watertown haven't had any issues with Westmoreland recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Watertown's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for White County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

White County beat Watertown 3-1 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will White County repeat their success, or does Watertown has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
