Baseball Recap: Huntley Project Comes Up Short

Huntley Project was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-4 to the Lockwood LIONS. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the LIONS this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Thursday.

Huntley Project's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lockwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huntley Project will host Billings West at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Bears have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Lockwood, they will be playing at home against Columbus at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
