Prince of Peace is 2-8 against Dallas Christian since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. Dallas Christian took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Prince of Peace, who comes in off a win.
Prince of Peace is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Coram Deo Academy get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Megan Williams was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three).
In other batting news, Claire Pritchett and Adrianna Soraci did most of the damage at the plate: Pritchett scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Soraci went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits Soraci has posted since back in March of 2024. Catherine Seay was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
Prince of Peace always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .833. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five contests, Dallas Christian finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of Wills Point by a score of 3-2. The Chargers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Dallas Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-3-1. As for Prince of Peace, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Prince of Peace hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .390. However, it's not like Dallas Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .410. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Prince of Peace suffered a grim 16-1 defeat to Dallas Christian in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
