O'Connor is 9-1 against Boulder Creek since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. O'Connor will challenge Boulder Creek at 3:45 p.m. O'Connor's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Boulder Creek's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Monday, O'Connor earned a 6-1 victory over Desert Mountain. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly five runs.

O'Connor got a great performance from Cody Stoller as he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Those nine strikeouts gave Stoller a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Tommy Pascanu was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Hunter Day also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
O'Connor was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Desert Mountain only posted a batting average of .208.
Meanwhile, Boulder Creek won against Putnam City on Tuesday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Boulder Creek was the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over Timnath. The win was nothing new for the Jaguars as they're now sitting on three straight.
Matt Bentivolio looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Boulder Creek got a massive performance out of Matt Nicolosi, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Ren Wallace, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
O'Connor has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-8.
O'Connor took their victory against Boulder Creek in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-1. Will O'Connor repeat their success, or does Boulder Creek has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
