Basketball Recap: Crookston Takes a Loss

Crookston lost against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crookston Pirates were dealt a 65-33 defeat at the hands of the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Rebels are ranked 30th).

Crookston has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 17 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Crookston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, they will take on Perham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
