Basketball Recap: Boerne Snags Eighth Victory in Last Ten Games

There's no place like home for Boerne, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Tivy Antlers by a score of 46-38 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Greyhounds: when they faced off against the Antlers back in November of 2024, they had to take a 48-39 defeat.

Boerne is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Tivy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boerne will welcome Smithson Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th. As for Tivy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pieper at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
