Crook County had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came out on top against the Molalla Indians by a score of 64-55. Given the Cowboys' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Indians are ranked 128th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crook County pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Molalla, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Coming up, Crook County will look to defend their home court on Monday against Estacada at 7:00 p.m. As for Molalla, they are taking a road trip to square off against Madras at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
