Volleyball Recap: Deep Creek Comes Up Short

Deep Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Menchville Monarchs.

Deep Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Menchville, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Deep Creek will square off against King's Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Menchville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Warwick on the 13th.
