Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Drops Season-High Score on Dallas Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity Christian Academy). They blew past the Dallas Academy Bulldogs 19-9 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-3 last Thursday.

Cruz Pyeatt was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luke Nutt, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles.

Trinity Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .686. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Trinity Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Dallas Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
