Rachel Roderick was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten steals for Camp Verde. That makes it four consecutive games in which Roderick has scored at least a third of Camp Verde's points. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Wheeler, who scored six points.
Chino Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Camp Verde, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.
Chino Valley will head out on the road to face off against Scottsdale Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Scottsdale Christian Academy is ranked 232nd, while Chino Valley is ranked 240th). As for Camp Verde, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Phoenix Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
