League recap: Morton/White Pass extends winning streak with victory over Darrington

Morton/White Pass added to the longest winning streak in 2B Central this week by beating Darrington, 64-0. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.

Morton/White Pass took down the Loggers 64-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Rylon Kolb threw for 209 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 56 yards in the win.

Aaron Poquette's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Brian Reynolds contributed 125 yards. Ben Powell helped Morton/White Pass' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 44 yards.

He was 9-11 with 0 interceptions.

Reynolds was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 125 yards on 13 carries as the Timberwolves topped Darrington. Teammate Zach Elswick added to the ground attack by rushing for 51 yards.

Morton/White Pass' offense cannot be tamed this season and the Timberwolves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kolb has thrown for 1,458 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, while Dunlap has 20 catches for 601 yards.

Adna made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,740 from 7,812. The advance stemmed from a 33-17 victory over Waitsburg/Prescott last week.
