While Kinder's win against Jennings wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Kinder Yellowjackets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Jennings Bulldogs on Saturday. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Brianna Fontenot was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Fontenot was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

In other batting news, Caegen Manuel was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Kinder hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jennings struck out eight times.

As for Jennings, they will venture away from home to face off against Merryville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jennings is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
