Jefferson Township snaps eight-game streak of losses on the road

Recap: Jefferson Township Broncos vs. East Dayton Christian

The Jefferson Township Broncos can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 57-49 win over East Dayton Christian. Jefferson Township's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several East Dayton Christian players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bradyn King, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. King has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Damir Walder was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.

Jefferson Township's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6. As for East Dayton Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

Jefferson Township will be playing at home against West Jefferson at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for East Dayton Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Dominion Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dominion Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully East Dayton Christian likes a good challenge.
