PikeView waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins...and they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Nicholas County Grizzlies.

Adaline Bowers paced PikeView's offense, picking up nine kills. Bowers was helped by Player #11 and Emma Weiss, who contributed 17 assists each. Addy French controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Nicholas County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brooklynn Nunley, who had nine kills, four solo blocks, and three digs, and Hannah Thomas, who had five digs, four aces, and a solo block. Another player making a difference was Camellia Prutsok, who had eight assists, three digs, and two solo blocks.

The win improved PikeView's record to 17-18-1. As for Nicholas County, they are now 7-24-1, having gone 3-2 since their three-game losing streak ended.

Nicholas County has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Montcalm on the 22nd. Hopefully PikeView paid attention to the Grizzlies' contest: the next time they hit the court , they'll take on the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
