Basketball Recap: Las Cruces Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Organ Mountain

On Saturday, Las Cruces faced Organ Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Las Cruces Bulldawgs took a hard 59-43 fall against the Organ Mountain Knights. The Bulldawgs haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Las Cruces' defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Organ Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.
