Football Recap: Lee Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Regents two weeks ago, Lee Academy came back down to earth. The Colts took a 28-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pillow Academy Mustangs on Friday. The Colts haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the loss, Lee Academy still got an impressive performance from Desi Monix, who rushed for 142 yards and one touchdown. Monix is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 115 every time he's taken the field this season.

Lee Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Pillow Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Lee Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-0 win against North Delta on the 24th. Pillow Academy has also already played their next contest (against St. Joseph Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
