Gavin VanBuren Game Report: vs Grayling

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Gavin VanBuren stepped things up a notch to give Harrison the 'W'. VanBuren scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. The effort marked the most runs he has had since back in April of 2024.

VanBuren's strong effort led Harrison over Grayling and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Hornets have some work to do to even out the 1-8 series between these two since April of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
