The Rockcastle County Rockets will head out on the road to face off against the Casey County Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Rockcastle County's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Garrard County. The win continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Golden Lions: they've now won five in a row.
Not much got past Rayleigh Hancock, who gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks to keep Garrard County off the board. Hancock has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Macy Spivey was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sydney Holcomb, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rockcastle County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.7 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 12.6.
Meanwhile, Casey County made easy work of Clay County on Saturday and carried off a 6-0 victory. Considering the Rebels have won six games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
The result came thanks to Harmony Meece/Richardson's shutout, as she gave up just five hits and racked up seven Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Elizabeth Forbes, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Aslan Wethington was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
Rockcastle County's record now sits at 10-11. As for Casey County, their record is now 11-7.
Rockcastle County skirted past Casey County 2-1 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
