Gaffney fell victim to Dorman and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cavaliers earlier this season, when they won 7-3.

Gaffney has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Dorman, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

While Gaffney had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
