Fatima's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the New Bloomfield Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fatima was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-3.

Among those leading the charge was Annabelle Horton, who had five digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Horton wasn't the only good servers: Fatima was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 26 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Fatima's win bumped their record up to 23-8-1. As for New Bloomfield, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-19-1.

Coming up, Fatima will face off against Russellville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for New Bloomfield, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Cole Camp on the 22nd.
