The Forney Jackrabbits will be playing at home against the Naaman Forest Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Forney is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Forney is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Texas' top teams: Rockwall-Heath, who was ranked 20th at the time (Forney was ranked 19th). The Jackrabbits took down the Hawks 42-28 on Thursday.

Nelson Peterson Jr. had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 95 yards and two TDs on only seven carries, while also throwing for 207 yards and one touchdown on only 19 passes. Those 95 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Javian Osborne also helped with three scores in total.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Naaman Forest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They never let South Garland get on the board and left with a 53-0 victory on Thursday. That 53 point margin sets a new team best for the Rangers this season.

The win got Naaman Forest back to even at 5-5. As for Forney, their record is now 8-2.
