Basketball Recap: Snyder Takes a Loss

Snyder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 48-21 defeat at the hands of the Sayre Eagles. The Cyclones were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Snyder's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Sayre, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Snyder and Sayre could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Snyder (ranked 417th) will meet Hollis (ranked 182nd) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Sayre will challenge Merritt at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 282 places (297 vs. 15).
