Tarkington won the last time they faced Hamshire-Fannett and things went their way on Tuesday too. Tarkington won by a set and slipped past Hamshire-Fannett 3-2.

Tarkington was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (98-97), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 13-25, 25-19, 25-19, 15-10.

Tarkington's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-23. As for Hamshire-Fannett, their loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-20.
