Basketball Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Wellington Skyrockets 77-19. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-3 back in December of 2024.

Highland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Wellington, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Memphis the next time they take the court. Wellington will host Memphis at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Highland Park will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
