Basketball Recap: Four Straight Road Victories for Huntsville

Huntsville had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 25-point drubbing they dealt Brenham on Friday. The Huntsville Hornets put the hurt on the Brenham Cubs with a sharp 60-35 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-35 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Brenham still got an impressive performance from Antyianna Lang, who went 6 for 12 en route to 14 points and eight rebounds.

Huntsville pushed their record up to 18-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22.5 points. As for Brenham, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-18.

Huntsville will take on Montgomery at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brenham, they will challenge A&M Consolidated at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A&M Consolidated will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Brenham surely won't give up without a fight.
