Basketball Recap: South Fremont Takes Down Marsh Valley in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, South Fremont rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Marsh Valley Eagles by a score of 58-50. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

South Fremont had a senior duo take command as Brianne Bailey dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds and Kenzly Neville posted 18 points along with seven assists and six boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Neville has scored all season. Hayden Larson was another key player, putting up eight points.

South Fremont's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Marsh Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season.

As of now, neither South Fremont nor Marsh Valley have any future games scheduled.
