Wayne County typically has all the answers at home, but  on Saturday Richland proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Wayne County Wildcats by a score of  50-40. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Wildcats  back in January, they had to take a  46-42  defeat.
  Bailey Blair continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  going 5-for-9  to rack up 21  points.  Katelyn Bass was another key player,  putting up three points in addition to five  assists and five  boards.
Richland is  on a roll lately: they've  won 17 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 54.9 points over those games. Wayne County's loss  ended  a  17-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 21-3.
 Looking ahead, Richland will take on Copper Basin at 12:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. Copper Basin will roll in looking for their  12th straight  victory, something Richland surely won't give up without a fight. Wayne County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
