Basketball Recap: Comanche Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bridge Creek last Friday, Comanche came back down to earth. The Comanche Indians took a blow against the Purcell Dragons on Tuesday, falling 60-30. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Comanche's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Purcell, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8.

Comanche and Purcell could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Comanche will take on Lindsay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 221 places (306 vs. 85). Similarly, Purcell (ranked 103rd) will meet Washington (ranked eighth) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
