Softball Recap: Pelham Hornets vs. Brookwood Warriors
Pelham entered their tilt with Brookwood on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Brookwood Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.
Christen Davis was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Shiver, who went 2-for-4 with a triple, a stolen base, and two RBI.
Pelham has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Brookwood, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
