Cleveland gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Midway Raiders as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Midway still got an impressive performance from Ella Clark, who had 24 assists and five digs.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cleveland will welcome Cape Fear at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Midway, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on South Johnston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
