Recap: Redan Raiders vs. Columbia Eagles
After flying high against the McNair Mustangs last Friday, The Redan Raiders came back down to earth. Redan was outmatched by Columbia on the road and fell 38-6. Redan has struggled against Columbia recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Columbia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jadan Baugh, who gained 142 total yards and a touchdown. Lamaze Williams and his 80 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Columbia's victory.
Redan's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Columbia, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Redan will be playing in front of their home fans against Landmark Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Landmark Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Columbia will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Towers at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
