Volleyball Recap: Franklin Monroe Comes Up Short

Franklin Monroe lost against Tri-Village back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jets lost 3-0 to the Patriots. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-15.

Jaylin Swiger paced Franklin Monroe's offense, picking up 13 kills. Swiger got some help from Brooklyn Miller and her 25 assists. Swiger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Franklin Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Tri-Village, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin Monroe will square off against Houston at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tri-Village, they will face off against Bradford at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
