Skyline came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Taylorsville Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-3 on Friday.

Mason Papadakis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Hayes Marshall and Steven Pedroza did most of the damage at the plate: Marshall went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Pedroza went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Skyline is 2-1 when Marshall posts two or more runs, but 9-15 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Cole Muse, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Skyline's record is now 11-16. As for Taylorsville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-11.

As of now, neither Skyline nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
