Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Thunderbird walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Paradise Honors Panthers on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Sophia Frandsen paced Thunderbird's offense, picking up 28 kills. Frandsen got some help from Cecelia Bouchard and her 47 assists. Frandsen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
Thunderbird's win bumped their record up to 24-12. As for Paradise Honors, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 25-14.
Thunderbird has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Flagstaff on the 6th. Paradise Honors does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
