Softball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Franklin's offense. They lost 13-0 to the South Lyon Lions on Monday. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Franklin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savana Mullen, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple was Mullen's first of the season.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for South Lyon, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.

While Franklin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
