Franklin won the last time they faced Cosumnes Oaks and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 48-14 victory over the Wolfpack. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 715th).

Braylon Robinson was his usual excellent self, throwing for 212 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 43 yards. Franklin also got a significant boost from Jaeden Haselrig, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 84 yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Franklin proved: they limited Cosumnes Oaks to a paltry 0.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Mason Towne for the heroic effort on defense: he. Franklin didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.7.
