Basketball Recap: Lake Mead Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Lake Mead Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 52-18 loss at the hands of the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

Lake Mead Christian Academy's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Gia Salazar and Davina Fernandez-Guillen. Salazar posted nine points, while Fernandez-Guillen had six points.

Lake Mead Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 64-16 defeat against Western on the 28th. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they will head out to challenge Doral Academy Red Rock at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
