Butler waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Whippany Park Wildcats a 2-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2017.

Butler's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Whippany Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Butler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Whippany Park has already played their next contest (against Hoboken), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
