Anselmo-Merna took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Sandhills/Thedford Knights 36-34. This was payback for the Coyotes, who suffered a 58-16 loss the last time these two teams met.
