Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Benedictine). They put the hurt on the Warner Robins Demons with a sharp 13-2 win on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cadets considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Benedictine, bringing their record for this year to 9-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Warner Robins, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Warner Robins beat Benedictine by a score of 8-7 later that day.
