Baseball Recap: South Lakes Takes a Loss

South Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 5-2 to the James Madison Warhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seahawks of the 8-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

South Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for James Madison, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Lakes will challenge Westfield at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for James Madison, they will face off against Briar Woods at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
